A Monaco affair

The wedding ceremony and reception of Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco spread over 3 days of lavish celebrations attended by Royalty, VIP’s and other dignitaries.

The joyous event showcased spectacular fireworks and light show on the port of Monaco, along with a Jean Michel Jarre concert, world-class festivities at the Opera Garnier ballroom and scrumptious cuisine by French Chef Alain Ducasse.

And to top it all the guests saw first hand the extravagant pink wedding cake adorned with blooming Proteas from the bride’s native South Africa.

The Prince dressed in his traditional white attire with shiny medals attached on his jacket, was accompanied by his beautiful bride dressed in a Giorgio Armani silk wedding gown ornamented with 40,000 Swarovski crystals and 20,000 mother of pearl tear drops and the ended with a 5 meter long train.

For the reception the new Princess had changed into a stunning Armani Prive white four tiered dress with a sheer top, teamed with white peep toe shoes and a small purse.
