A mall in Liuzhou, southern China’s Guangxi Province had placed a car park sign that led a car to get stuck on a staircase.
Xiang Zhen, was just following the overhead signs and arrows that said parking when she suddenly felt her vehicle plummet down the bumpy staircase.
The loud noise from the incident had scared some shoppers, who immediately ran to safety.
Zhen’s car had to be abandoned until a tow truck could drag it out on to the road.
The shopping mall authorities had no justification as to how the sign had gotten there.
The mall is said to compensate the owner of the vehicle for damages.
